From the Combines series.
Our dryer packed it. Given the brand name of the appliance “Frigidaire Gallery” I couldn’t resist repurposing it as a combine painting about my experiences working in the Arctic in on an oil rig supply vessel on the Beaufort Sea in 1983.
As we left the Mackenzie River Delta heading north we saw a summer fishing camp on the east bank of the river and opposite, on the west side was the DEW Line station.
