I drew this site specific charcoal on paper study in 1983 at Quebec & Milross in 1983. I had just returned to Vancouver after working two & a half months in the Arctic, and I was about to depart to London to complete my final year of MA studies at the RCA. It still feels a little uncanny that Trans Am Totem ended up occupying that very same site 30 years later.
